CALIBRATION/GAGE TECH
Experience: 4 years minimum in calibrating
precision measuring instruments or setting up gages used in inspecting Oil
Country threads.
Duties: Calibrate general machine shop inspection instruments and
thread gages used for Oil Country threads. Maintain gage-tracking software to
ensure tools/tooling are within specifications and traceability requirements.
Shipping and receiving of gages requiring outside calibration while maintaining
traceability. Set-up and maintain gages used to inspect API and various thread
technology company products. Maintain proprietary inserts and standard insert
supplies used in machining Oil Country Tubular Goods using Purchase Control
Module software by DCD. Inspect and maintain inspection documents for threaded
products in a production environment as required.
Familiarization with the inspection of API/thread technology company
specifications, knowledge of GAGEtrak and/or DCD software helpful but not
required.
